PALFINGER EPSILON was represented at the KWF fair in Schwarzenborn, Germany, from June 19 to 22, 2024. The world's largest trade fair in the forestry industry this year provided the ideal platform to present our innovations in the field of timber and forestry machinery and timber transport. Under the motto "Inspired by tradition, made for the future", PALFINGER EPSILON presented a wide range of products on an exhibition area of almost 1,000 square meters. Despite the mixed weather, we were able to welcome many visitors to our stand and hold numerous inspiring discussions.

PALFINGER EPSILON presented well proven products, such as the OFFROAD cranes for forwarders and skidders, as well as the S260Z long timber crane for timber transport. In addition, new technologies in timber transport were presented. A special focus was placed on our three control systems CLASSIC, COMFORT and TEC, with which we offer customized solutions.

The CLASSIC control system, a mechanical crane control system, has established itself as a proven and simple solution. The COMFORT control system, a hydraulic crane control system, offers maximum comfort for crane operators and impresses with its outstanding performance. The TEC control system is a new addition to the portfolio. This electric control system serves as the basis for the TEC features, which offer customers real added value in their day-to-day work.

TEC features such as the PALFINGER assistance system SMART CONTROL and end position damping are already on the market. PALFINGER EPSILON is currently working on an automatic weighing system. This uses sensors to calculate the actual weight in the grab during each load cycle so that the total weight on the truck can be kept in view at all times during the loading process. In addition, the new TEC feature HPLS+ is being tested, which offers drivers more lifting power if required. The electronic crane control system recognizes limit situations and automatically provides additional lifting power.

The KWF provided an excellent opportunity to carry out tests and obtain direct feedback from users. Our goal is to bring the TEC features into series production in the coming year 2025 and thus make our customers' day-to-day work easier.

The KWF Members Award 2024 was presented at the 18th KWF in the Future Area. Ten innovative forestry technology products received the coveted members' award, with 47 nominated products from various specialist areas to choose from. PALFINGER EPSILON is particularly pleased that our automatic weighing system and the HPLS+ are among the lucky winners! This award confirms our vision to change the industry through innovation for greater simplicity and efficiency - for generations to come.

We would like to thank all visitors and partners who supported us at the KWF fair. It was a pleasure to welcome you to our PALFINGER EPSILON stand and to shape the future of the forestry and timber industry together.
