What do PALFINGER EPSILON and the Rally Dakar have in common?

Together with his colleague Mart Meeru, Toomas Triisa dived into the two-week Dakar Rally adventure in Saudi Arabia. This moment was significant because together with a second Team they were the first 100% Estonian teams to start at the Dakar - thus history was made!

A total of 8,549 kilometers were covered, with the pair already in 13th place after the first day. 
The second stage of the Dakar proved to be very difficult for the Rally Raid Estonia teams. Toomas Triisa and Mart Meeru had to deal with a puncture and some machine repairs. Overall they finished 30th in the test and 19th in the T4 class. 

After two weeks, over 8,000 kilometers and a lot of emotions later, Dakar 2023 was successfully mastered and the team was able to finish 11th place overall.

When Toomas is not in the desert, he is the bodybuilder for the dealer VTA TEHNIKA AS regarding EPSILON cranes. Thanks to his know-how and his successes in extreme sports, he can offer everything from scheduling to the technically best possible superstructure solution for special requirements to the fastest possible service.
