Just a few weeks after the final relocation of the design and product management departments to the new innovation centre, the first international visitors were received. End customers and dealers from Sweden spent four days in Austria and gained a comprehensive insight into the development and assembly of the latest EPSILON crane models.

Of particular interest to the visitors were the initial impressions of the new M series in live operation. With this innovative crane generation, EPSILON has yet again significantly cut maintenance and service outlay thanks to the fully internal hose routing. In addition, the redesigned Z-type crane double-telescope system gives the crane arm 900 mm more reach than the previous model, meaning that the new M series currently has the longest reach in the industry.

Given the long, hard winters in Sweden, the visitors were particularly excited to see the cabin model for the new crane series: the completely redesigned EPSCAB cabin. Not only does EPSCAB offer outstanding comfort thanks to the hydraulically elevating cabin and the air-suspended seat, but the new command centre also offers maximum all-weather protection. An air-conditioning system and heater are, of course, also available. But the testers were also highly impressed with the new control functions for the cabin. Depending on personal preference, the crane can be hydraulically piloted or electrically controlled, thereby offering even greater variety and precision.

Following their eventful time in Austria, the Swedish delegation made their way back home. EPSILON would like to thank them for their visit and is already looking forward to receiving its next visitors from Austria and beyond!
