Experience is the key to success – long-serving employees honoured at Christmas party
At the Christmas party, which took place at the end of December, the company again thanked its long-serving employees for their loyalty during the financial year just ended. This year, the management team, represented by Hannes Steindl and Stefan Oberleitner, again honoured a total of seven individuals from among the 100-strong workforce.
This time, Stefan Oberleitner himself – who was first appointed to the management team in spring 2015 – was among those celebrating anniversaries at the company. Oberleitner started out in internal sales 15 years ago and has since worked in all sales-related positions at the company. Coordinating international market development and maintaining close contact with dealers and customers from all over the world continue to be the core areas of his new job role as well.
This illustrates yet again that experience and many years of company service are held in high regard at PALFINGER EPSILON. At the end of 2015, in spite of the strong growth in recent years, a total of almost 20% of the workforce celebrated over ten years of service with the company. It is precisely these employees – with their expertise and many years of experience – that are of critical importance for the positive development of the company. Stefan Oberleitner knows all too well that this capital is especially important when it comes to mastering current and future challenges. This is why PALFINGER EPSILON places significant emphasis on an informal working atmosphere and is increasingly investing in the further education and training of its employees. These factors are important for a lively team spirit and are of course also key in terms of fostering employee identification with and loyalty to the company.
