R&H Scott Ltd are a long established timber haulage company, operated by husband and wife team, Robert and Helen Scott. Based at Stonehaugh, near Hexham, in the depths of Northumberland, North East England, located ideally just on the edge of Kielder Forest, one of the largest manmade forests in the UK.

R & H Scott runs a large fleet of purpose built timber loaders, all fitted with semi-trailers. No matter were these trucks appear, they are attracting attention with their very special colour design. Green-Black-Yellow – an eye-catching combination which generates a very shiny appearance. To make the fleet not only nice looking but also extraordinary useful, many of these units are now fitted with EPSILON timber loaders which have been fitted and supplied by Falkirk based Outreach Ltd.

The latest loader package to enter their fleet is an EPSILON M100L 80 model with full Alucar aluminium superstructure and bunks fitted on a new Scania R 480 V8 6x4 rigid chassis. This wagon and drawbar unit will make it easier for R&H Scott to reach the hard to access areas of the Northumberland forest.

Outreach Ltd has specified and adapted many installations for R & H Scott to provide the highest standards of safety, capability and technical advancement to meet the demands of working in the timber industry. With the exact product matching and the desired end-build, combined with the excellent aftercare services, Outreach and R&H Scott are set for the future.

Footnote: A special job that R & H Scott undertakes each year, is to deliver a Christmas tree from Kielder Forest to London, which is then displayed near Westminster and the iconic Big Ben.
