World premiere of new M-Series at INTERFORST 2014!
On an area of 70,000 m² the INTERFORST was presented from 16th to 20th of July 2014. 450 exhibitors from 26 countries displayed their products on the fairground in Munich. The product range extended from forest protection, about woodworking, to the timber transport vehicles. Also EPSILON was represented on over 750 sqm and presented the latest products in the timber crane segment. More than 10,000 visitors have informed themselves about the world premiere of the new M-series at the PALFINGER EPSILON booth. Traders, end customers and potential new customers got important information about the highlights. Every two hours an anchor presented the facts of all products. In addition to the exhibition highlights also a short timber harvester and other cranes of the product portfolio of EPSILON were presented.
The new series sets new standards in the timber crane industry. The new PALFINGER EPSILON M-Series is a perfect unity of design, comfort and technology. The result is a product that fulfills every individual requirement, and even exceeds expectations. The crane has been developed together with professional industrial designers. The creative design is primarily reflected in the new high seat.
Master Drive - Master Drive enables the operator to enjoy full control of all operational commands. Thanks to the benefits of the most sophisticated design and technology this crane can be operated with a minimum of effort. The comfortable, ergonomically- shaped seat from GRAMMER provides maximum maneuverability, secure and stable seating, as well as seat heating, weight adjustment options and mechanically adjustable lumbar support. As an option – EPSHOOD: The foldaway mechanism and tinted plastic hood keep out the sun, rain and wind during the whole operating process, making every job a pleasant and comfortable experience. Convenient care, maintenance and repair are decisive for the professional manipulation of precision machinery. This is another strength of the new PALFINGER EPSILON M-Series, as it offers well thought- out solutions for low-maintenance operation. The newly designed crane column mounting ensures the entire pillar mechanism is immersed in oil bath. This has very positive effects on maintenance requirements and a tangible impact upon internal maintenance expenditure.
Inside hose routing – the extended inside hose routing (crane column, main arm, articulated arm) allows the driver an uncomplicated handling. This technical comfort of the crane manufacturer makes damage to the hoses almost impossible. Should there be problems, enable service openings on the entire crane for easy access.
New outreach double telescope - The new design of the double telescope system provides up to 900mm more reach than the predecessor. The longest reach in its field. Overall, a total range of incredible 10.50 m is achieved.
