Back to the roots: New management Simon Altmann

PALFINGER EPSILON is pleased to present Simon Altmann (left side photo) as the new Managing Director since February 2024. His professional journey began with an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer, followed by a long career at PALFINGER. From his beginnings in customer service to assembly management to Director After Sales and Service, he has taken on many roles and continuously developed his skills.

With over 20 years of international experience in the industry and constant proximity to customers, Simon understands their individual needs. His regional ties to Salzburgerland also give him a down-to-earth attitude that reflects the company's values. 

He is now ready for a new challenge as the second Managing Director next to Johannes Steindl (right side photo) at PALFINGER EPSILON. In his role, he is in charge of marketing, sales, product management and customer service. When you ask him why he returned to PALFINGER EPSILON, he responded with his passion for creating and the positive drive he feels here. He also appreciates PALFINGER EPSILON's corporate values and attaches great importance to honesty.

We wish Simon all the best in his new position and look forward to the positive energy he will bring to the company.
