Biber Power Truck presents the new-generation Vican model with EPSILON S110F 104
Only a few weeks after the presentation of the new 625-hp Turox model, Biber Power Trucks has now unveiled its "big brother", the 750-hp Vican.
This time, the backdrop for the premiere was the brand-new Biber showroom, which in the future will be used as a handover hall for new machines and a training centre. In addition to these current events, at the traditional New Year's reception there was ample opportunity to take a look back into the past. The evening celebrated 60 years of Eschlböck with famous personalities from politics and culture, employees, customers, neighbours and business partners. Even Dr Josef Pühringer, the Governor of Upper Austria made an appearance, coming to Prambachkirchen to attend the event.
During a live machine demonstration on the forecourt of the factory premises, visitors were impressed by the tremendous performance of the Turox in combination with the EPSILON S110F 104 crane for chipper applications. It filled a 32 m3 tipper truck in less than ten minutes!
In addition to the powerful performance of the chipping rotor, the high working speed is mainly achieved thanks to several new, customer-specific developments on the crane. Here, the substantial reach of 10.4 metres and optimised hydraulic power of the crane in particular considerably enhance working efficiency. The crane's control system was also further optimised and, thanks to the use of new components, now responds with even greater sensitivity and more precision than before.
The truck itself offers a range of technical refinements including a power shift gearbox, the possibility to control the vehicle from the operating seat and exceptional off-road capability while retaining the normal dimensions of an on-road truck, all of which create an unrivalled working experience. The new Biber Power Truck is therefore Eschlböck's state-of-the-art response to increasing requirements in the production of wood chippings using crane devices and combines comfortable working conditions with robust technology.
