Bijol's 20th anniversary – a successful partnership
Bijol, a company established by Janez Bijol in autumn 1996, has been PALFINGER's partner in Slovenia for 20 years now – a fitting reason to celebrate this long-standing collaboration.
To mark this occasion, Bijol invited its most important customers, partners and employees to its corporate headquarters in Vuzenica, near the Austrian-Slovenian border, at the end of September.
A lot has been accomplished in the past 20 years!
Starting as a small company with a few employees, Bijol grew into Slovenia's foremost dealer of loader and forestry cranes.
The company now employs 40 people at two locations. In particular, the service centre in Vransko, opened in 2014 and very conveniently located for strategic purposes, is playing an increasingly prominent role in the rapid growth experienced in recent years. Since it was established, the company has managed to develop more than 1,800 different PALFINGER mountings and hand them over to customers in a country with just two million inhabitants. Particularly worth mentioning at the moment is the BWS160 project, which is a special skidder with an EPSILON crane developed and produced exclusively by Bijol.
An apple tree as a birthday present
More than 200 visitors took the opportunity to toast the successful partnership of the last 20 years on a glorious late-summer day. EPSILON Managing Director Stefan Oberleitner, as well as Lukas Absmanner, the Area Sales Manager responsible, could not miss the chance to be there in person to offer their congratulations. Clad in traditional Salzburg garb, the two EPSILON representatives handed over a small apple tree to their partner – a symbol of both the growth of their partnership and the fruits of their success.
