Yesterday, after six intense trade fair days, bauma 2016 closed its doors once again. The biggest construction machinery trade fair in the world was able to set a new visitor record yet again – with around 580,000 people from 200 countries visiting the exhibition centre this year. This corresponds to an increase of nine percent on the last event held in 2013, which was announced by the trade fair on Sunday.

With two trade fair stands, 20 installations and a whole host of highlights, PALFINGER presented itself as an innovative market leader for mobile loader cranes and a technological pacesetter for hydraulic lifting and work systems at BAUMA 2016. On a space measuring 1,800 square metres, PALFINGER demonstrated a wide product range extending from the latest heavy-duty crane PK 165.002 TEC 7 and timber and recycling cranes to container handling systems, truck-mounted forklifts and access platforms.

The specially created report series "Andrea gets things moving" on PALFINGER TV dedicated the main focus of one episode to the new EPSILON control system Master Drive, which was introduced to international trade specialists for the first time at bauma 2016 in the recycling edition.
Managing director of EPSILON, Stefan Oberleitner, perfectly summarises the highlights of the new crane generation, including the control option Master Drive, in a short interview.
